'Dear NME
Please stop bumming Noel Fielding. I love him more than as much as the next man, but 4 references just while I picked up to scan through? It's getting tiresome. You are Fielding Floozies.
Kthnx Ellie xxx'

Mum: 'I've just realised- it's your birthday in a few days...what do you want?' Me: 'Oh CHEERS'
I am loved. It was the way she said it, as if she only just realised ;)

Gar. Taxi back from the RID gig is £14, split 4 ways is very good. However the branch in my village is closed and they won't take payment on the night or over the phone, if I want it I'll have to go to the Loughborough branch and pay up front. WHY. IK.
Greetings, English essay....I'm going in... *convulses* John Clare...eugh.

Sometimes, shit happens to you, even when you're trying your best to please everyone, you still get let down.
I'm so upset.

WHY AM I SUCH A FOOL!?!?!
I'm going down to London on Monday and I STUPIDLY booked on trains not allowing me enough time in my change to go to Noel Fielding's Art exhibition. It's stupid as well, I could easily have booked in a train up to an hour and a half earlier, but I didn't. WHAT AN ARSE. Unless I get up uber early the next day and head down to Soho... t'internet tells me le cake shop opens at half 8 and my train's not till 9.55 *ponders*
Anyway, yeah, I'm going down to Royal Holloway for a lecture by Germaine Greer on Sappho. Should be a RIOT. I'm staying overnight at love_that_dog's then catching a train back in the morning, cause it goes on fairly late.
Ellie on the underground at 9am? Attempting to buy a ticket?
I am so going to miss my train *facepalm*

i. My grandfather died on Monday, and it's been a bit sad...my dad was pretty upset, although he's coping better now, but it's been a bit of a blow... I don't really know what else I can say about it. I'm not looking forward to the funeral next week, I very easily and I've got a feeling it'll overwhelm me :( I don't want to see my dad cry again.
ii. Thankfully my exams are over, I did Philip II on Tuesday. The first essay question went very well I think, the 2nd question I'm not so sure on, I think I may have waffled slightly and been a bit vague on my historiography, but we'll see. It could have been a lot worse to be honest.
iii. I've got a hell of a cold. One blocked nostril, blocked sinuses, really snotty, sore throat. Not enough to warrent me staying off school, but enough to make me feel run down as hell and depressed when I'm there.
iv. Music lesson tomorrow...eugh, flute practise tonight and flute lesson tomorrow with cold=eugh. Plus I'll probably be grilled by my music teacher to see how I'm feeling and will probably end up crying...
v. I'm feeling a bit down at the moment, not able to relax after my exams, feeling pretty ill and obviously the stuff with my grandfather.
vi. On an upbeat note- chances of Noel Fielding having NOT snapped them up in the Topshop sale? Slim. http://www.topshop.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?beginIndex=0&viewAllFlag=&catalogId=19551&storeId=12556&categoryId=73418&parent_category_rn=61561&productId=531517&langId=-1

i. I am muchly looking forward to twinni_one and twinni_two's 18th this weekend, however I still need to buy their tequila pressies...but it's a toga party so it should be pretty fun :) Wine! Tequila! There will have to be a pic spam. Anyone got any ideas of Roman-esque make up? *is a poor Classics student*
ii. I am liking Timbaland at the moment. It's strange because I'm not normally into RnB stuff, but it's just insanely catchy I must say.
iii. Noel Fielding and Julian Barrett make me wet myself in glee. I swear when Julian makes an effort and actually washes his hair and doesn't be too painfully shy he's totally as appealing as Noel. But when he's hunched up looking uncomfortable and pained and not saying anything it's hard to see him sparkle...He's a dear :) The Boosh makes me happy in large amounts :)
For anyone who hasn't encountered The Mighty Boosh on my f-list I advise you watch this really cool interview with 'em :)
iv. Religion in the reign in Philip II? What? *sighs*
v. Gar, music lesson tomorrow. I always dread my music lessons because my music teacher is so intense, and it's one and one and very rigourous and if there's ever anything bothering me she always gets it out of me and I end up crying. She's not nasty, totally the opposite she's supporting and like 'it's totally understandable, this is the only time you have a one on one with a teacher'. But it's just- gah, she grills me when I come in about my week and if everything's okay and then works me very meticulously and if I'm feeling a bit upset I'm likely to end up crying :P I cry easily, but on the good side she is a good teacher and a nice person, but just very in your face...
vi. Need to do well on Philip II. Need a 'B' for Uni offer. Can't arse it up like I did on Francis. I don't want to have to retake it in the summer- it'll put the pressure on, and make all this work right now rather redundant.
vii. Greek myth booklets free in The Guardian newspaper! Get inn :) Unfortunately I missed the first 2 :( Woe.

GRR I hate Philip II. There's SO much to learn for him...I'm going to have to start training myself to start working at home again as well as in my frees... I figure if I attempt to work 45 minutes every night I will get through everything....
I'm just worried 'cause I reallty need to do well in this module now I think I buggered Francis :(

There was a guy in front of Topshop in full tartan regalia playing the bagpipes today...
Luckily they were playing The Yeah Yeah Yeahs inside Topshop very loudly.
I felt my f-list needed to know this.

I am feeling a bit disguiting post Xmas. Healthy eating. Stop all the sodding fizzy drinks/fruit juices, back on my water. I just looked in the mirror and I have too much of a stomach in these skinny jeans.
I am doing well this morning, I have had a relatively small breakfast- Cheerios and coffee. Okay, coffee is my weekend treat, mkay? I'm more concerned with the sugary fruit squash and coke I've taken to having in the evening while on the computer- back to pints of water methinks.
My fringe is making me happy- I've got it at a good length, and it's pouffy under and bouncy.
I want some black eyeshadow, and some more big garish gold hoopy earings things. I really want some more ear piercings, but my mother's likely to hit the wall....once I get to Uni maybe. I want to go out today, ignore Philip II for a day.
I think I fucked my History retake yesterday. Which is an arse because I did a lot of work for it, and fucking AGAIN the questions were nasty and unlike any of the past papers I've looked at. I would be happy with ANY of the past years 30 odd questions I've got a hold of, but NO, when Ellie comes along needing to get her History grade up they put wierd questions on. I may have to retake it again in the summer- which isn't too bad because I've only got 5 exams in the summer, but it's just I knew I had the potential to do well on this paper now, and bring my grade up to a safe B for my Uni offer and I think I've fucked it up. It's put the pressure on me for my next History paper in about 10 days, which is a hard one as well. Great.

I'd love some music rec's from people on my f-list. At the moment I'm enjoying:
Patrick Wolf Robots In Disguise Porcelain And The Tramps Shiny Toy Guns CSS (Sansei De Ser Sexi)
So basically I like slightly electricy/poppy stuff. Feel free to rec older or well known stuff, but new is even bettarrr :)
I was crusing off_highstreet as someone had asked for music rec's, but there were pages and pages without any explanations of what the particular bands were like...
I've got a 30gb ipod and am only using about 6gb in music at the moment :)

i. History module= Friday 11th, Other History Module= 21st Jan Ellie= Surfing Mighty Boosh Forum and debating about which Robots in Disguise t shirt to get. Woe :( I need someone to come with me to the RID gig at the Charlotte...I've asked on the forum if anyone wants to do a meet up but so far no response. If not I'll just have go to one at the end of this year in London, they play the Barfly in Camden loads. I'd love to go tho as loads of people who've been before said they got to talk with Dee and Sue. T'would be MADE OF WIN.
ii. Loads of people complemented me on my fringe today, and were all impressed when I said I did it meself. I am cleer *silly giggle* I am ELECTRO GIRL :)
iii. I want the exams to be over so we can have a Boosh+pampering+eating day at chez Ellie. That would rule.
iv. I miss twinni_one- she was ill today. Get better Lou, one twin is sad, two is magic.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RXwQ-JND2pE new music peeps- turn it up :)

Revision makes me want to stab my eye out with a dull spoon, yet leaves me feeling oddly accomplished.
