2009 was the year of short friendships ending. On the one hand I care because at one point we were close and at one point I felt comfortable around these people (then again maybe I never did and this wasn't right from the start). But on the other hand I don't care. Sometimes you have to judge a friendship by how it ended, dredge up pictures from it, and burn them. Ah closure. If you are the people in these pictures: Judge me. I don't care. Be mad. Get hurt. Maybe then you'll know how I felt at the end.
2010 is going to start on the right foot. With a clean slate. And lots of fire!

I re-evaluate my priorities pretty much once a week. I need this to make sure I stay motivated in school and it also helps me feel better about life. Seriously. Sounds so stupid but keeping your perspective balanced helps a lot. It helps me not give a shit what people think about me because I know where I stand in my own life.
My life may not be diamonds and fireworks every day but seriously who gives a shit? I don't. I have school to tackle fuck the rest.

Plans for 2010: YEAR OF THE ROBOT. Who is game? Less fbr bands (IE PATD, FOB, COBRA). MORE GOGOL BORDELLO and other ridiculous bands that I am in love with. IE paying attention to tour announcements outside of fbr. THESIS! SCHOOL! YOGA! PHOTO! Comic Con on Saturday! Meeting my 50 books goal again! Getting the rest of Pink Floyd's albums on vinyl. Buying vinyl instead of cds.
My plans are simple and epic.

Title: Back On The Road Author: Janne ( bergann) Fandom: Generation Kill Pairing: Gen (though Brad/Nate implied) Rating: PG-13 Word count: 1 574 Summary: "We're going on a road trip," Ray says, cheerfully. "Only, like, a peaceful one. Without shooting some motherfucking Hajjis, which is a dying shame I know, but apparently the rules on that sort of thing are stricter outside of a war zone, who knew?" Author's Notes: This was supposed to be a nice, short comment drabble as I am in no condition to really write with one arm in a sling...as a result, this took me way longer than I had intended, but on the bright side it's time for some more meds!
For this prompt over at yagkyas's Good Cookie post: Person (and anyone else) - singing Lady Gaga.

YESTERDAY WAS TATTOO DAY. *ahem* As some of you may have noticed. A flurry of folks have asked for pics, so I'll do a quick write up. ( It's not cutting, but I do it feel alive. )
Right. I'm going to go and get some lunch and do some last minute Christmas shopping before I have to come back and get ready for the Nutcracker tonight. Thanks for hopping around in delight with me. Eeeeee.

Stoichiometry | PG-13 | ~6,000 Brendon/Spencer, Ryan/Jon Sequel to Supersaturation, Solvation, Enthalpy, Entropy, Sublimation, Allotropy, Adsorption, and Saponification.
“You are glorious,” Brendon tells Captain Hall, because Captain Hall is like a giant walking, talking teddy bear and he doesn’t let anyone be mean to Brendon. He even tells Pete not to be a creeper, which is awesome, because it’s not like Brendon minds all of Pete’s ass-slaps, but there’s got to be a line drawn somewhere. That line has been firmly drawn by Captain Zack Hall, of the USMC.
A/N: Prior knowledge of this universe would be helpful, so you should read all the ones that came before this one. It's a fun, wacky, weird ride, I promise you. And I know I claimed this was the last fic in this series, but everything is just begging for an Earthside fic, y/y? Or a Zack's Team fic? There's just so much to play with! Anyway, special awesome thanks to insunshine for the beta :) There are mini-clones and Zack Hall and Sterling Knight, who plays Chad Dylan Cooper on Sunny With a Chance (and he was also Zac Efron's son in 17 Again, he's awesome, and, no, I'm not actually a 13 year old girl)

* MY KNEE HURTS. HURTS, HURTS, HURTS. APPARENTLY I WRENCHED IT BY GETTING MY ANKLE CAUGHT ON A BABY-GATE? THUS PROVING THAT I AM OFFICIALLY OLD. MY DAD IS DRIVING ME TO WORK, HOW PATHETIC IS THAT? HE LIVES 25 MINUTES AWAY FROM ME AND IS RETIRED. I FEEL KINDA BAD.
* nunshavingfun HAS CONNED ME INTO WRITING SOCKO/SPENCER SHAY, I DON'T KNOW HOW THAT HAPPENED. I'M AS BAFFLED AS YOU. /ICARLY
* GREAT GREAT GREAT GREAT GRANDSON OR WHATEVER OF SUPERSATURATION WILL HOPEFULLY BE UP BEFORE XMAS. THERE IS BRENDON AND SPENCER AND ZACK HALL AND STERLING KNIGHT AND TINY CLONES AND DISTURBING IMAGERY SUCH AS LITTLE BRENDON CALLING RYAN MOMMY.
* I'M ONLY ABOUT 2000 WORDS INTO MY sodamnskippy GIFT FIC, WHICH IS SAD-MAKING, BUT I'VE DECIDED THAT JON WALKER TALKS TO CATS IN IT AND IT IS ENTIRELY POSSIBLE THAT ZAC EFRON WANTS TO EAT KEVIN'S SOUL.
THAT IS ALL.

You can also view data on comments and RSS requests. My Stats is only available to Paid and Permanent account holders, but you can upgrade anytime. (FYI, an annual subscription costs less than a large pizza with everything on it, PLUS it's rumored to make you lose weight in your sleep!) For additional details on this feature, read this article in paidmembers.

Tweaks and Enhancements- The search is on: We've replaced our default search tool with one from Yandex, a leader in search engine technology. This means you'll get smarter, more granular results! To get started, enter your search terms and click the Go button to the left of the Find box on the upper right of the LiveJournal header. This will take you to the search landing page where you can further refine by Entries, Comments, People & communities, and FAQs. You can also access the search page directly.
- Whitelisting: We've released a new option to help you moderate your busy communities more efficiently. If an entry contains a link to a whitelisted (i.e., trusted) site, it will be posted automatically without need for moderator approval. If a post contains a link that is not on the whitelist, you'll be prompted to approve. To access this option, please visit settings for any community you maintain and select the third option in the Community Moderation box (located in the lower left-hand corner). Click the enable link to custom-edit your community's whitelist, which has been prepopulated with trusted domains. You can manually add or delete URLs in the text box. Please note: If you're the maintainer of an unmoderated community, you may see the radio button for this setting checked, even though it's not active. This is a known issue. Please select whichever option you prefer and click Save Changes at the bottom of the page. If you're happy with your current settings, then no need to do anything!
- TMI, dude: We've added some fun FREE sponsored vgifts! You can send up to 50 TMI vgifts to mutual friends (btw, you cannot send free vgifts to communities). If you're a Paid/Permanent user and you want to view sponsored gifts, click Show sponsored gifts on your homepage or visit the sponsored gift page. These vgifts will only be available through Wednesday, December 23rd.

You can view more awesome user content after the jump! ( Read more... )

Title: Dog Days Are Over Author: grimeysociety Pairing: Noel Fielding/Russell Brand Warnings: Slash, drug references Rating: R Word Count: 2,070 Summary: For the next few months, Noel accidentally-on-purpose misplaced Russell’s phone number and avoided most of Hampstead. It was an admittedly cowardly move on Noel’s part, but once Russell began to butt in, demanding if he’d been on poppers several times they’d been out together, Noel had to shut down and avoid the nagging feeling in the pit of his stomach.
